Agree. Fasting is my staple too. Nothing resets the brain like it. Gotta time it though with shifts as I will confess to needing food especially when working nights. My absolute emergency pick me up is an icy Coke - a can of which is always in my work fridge, esp. when there is no time to eat.I recently did a 112 hour fast. I had to stop on a Monday evening because I had a tour on the Tuesday. I had less than 2.5 days to do the full 7 days.
i may never get ti do the full week.
i will do a 40 fast at the drop of a hat. It is easy. Just stop eating at 6pm and abstain the following day. Go to bed very early, say 8 pm and dont get up early the next morning, ideally til 10 am and you have an easy 40 hours.
But yea when I'm off I often do a 36 to 48 hour fast.Very good for you, once you hydrate with appropriate fluids - not Coke
