Tried watching Armagh and Derry the other day but had to turn off after 10 minutes cos I didn't know which team had the ball.

What kind of A-hole thought it a good idea to have both teams playing in practically the same colours?
Can you not afford a color TV??

Saul must be happy getting out of that with a draw.

Carlow v Offaly in the hurling was a good watch. The Scallion eaters won by a point after extra time.

Westmeath should have beaten Armagh , they will be devastated at conceding a late goal .....they played all the football :(

Good point for Monaghan they could have won the game but showed strong resolve to work a score to the it up with the last kick of the game

Limerick could easily crash out despite all the talk of 4-in-a row.

Óg and his brother are both gay. Summat must not have been right in that household.

Schofield and his jailed brother are another two.

The Dubs held in both codes at Croker. Squandered a 12 point lead in the hurling.

Wexford who last week lost to Westmeath decided to beat Kilkenny 7 days later.

Limerick edge Cork to meet Clare once again in the Munster final.

They are showing their mettle despite not being in top form so far.

Football action was reasonable at the weekend , mayo had trouble with Louth in McHale park , Mickey harte has turned Louth into mini Tyrone with a wall of red shirts in front of the scoring zone , it's impossible to play through them and Kevin mcStay will be very disappointed with this display , with the only bright spot Aidan O'shea swinging over 3 nice frees from the right with his left foot.....I didn't know Aidan could take frees :)

In Ulster :sneaky: Tyrone defeated Armagh in Omagh by one point in a game where Armagh didn't start playing to the 60th minute ....Rian O'Neill was straight reded in the first half for Derek Chauvin impersonation ....Armagh will be thumped by Galway next weekend

Monaghan ran out five points winners over Clare in Clones in a well contested open game where Clare put in a massive performance ....Jack mcCarron scored 9 points and the game was only settled by a Conor McCarthy goal in injury time

Roscommon were comfortable winners over Sligo in the Hyde and will be a very dangerous opponent in the knockout round and should beat kildare next weekend to at worst come second in the group and stay at home in the preliminary quarter finals

Teddy McCarthy has died suddenly at the age of 57 :( he was the only man to ever win dual all Ireland's in the same year ....a midfielder in hurling (sarsfields) and a forward in football (glanmire) he was an all time cork legend and has passed away far too soon

Very impressed with Derry so far. With no real standout team this year they could go all the way. Will definitely stick a few quid on them.

A lot of talk about low attendances and viewing figures. The useless GAA have really fuxked things up by introducing this stupid format where only 4 teams are eliminated after all these matches.

The Dublin Kildare match was pretty much a dead rubber as both teams are more or less guaranteed a place in the next round - so why would fans bother travelling down to Kilkenny to watch that shite?
Only losing 1 team from four team groups is daft ! ! ! !

I was at a wake last Friday evening I think it was and I could not find out what killed him and he was about 57.

Heart attacks are very common and could be getting more so. An ex customer keeled over dead at about the same age while watching the celtics about a year ago

Poor auld Mayo can't catch a break. Drawn against Dublin yet again. Should be some cracking matches. Only the Derry one seems like a foregone conclusion.
Mcstay walked out on them at half time yesterday and told them it was up to themselves  what a goal from that red back .....he opened them up like a hot knife through butter
