The all Ireland club final is going to be replayed , it's a total debacle , my instinct tells me Glen should refuse the replay

Signing Shane Walsh has made rural clubs angry at Dublin clubs taking all the best players.

I think that's a factor in Glen going for the replay. There's no goodwill towards Crokes because of that.

That's right Sir. I remember Seanie Johnston was playing great for Cavan. Then he moved to Kildare, his game went to sh1t and the Cavan people turned on him when he returned.

There was a player on the Cork panel a few years ago, Denis O'Sullivan (don't think he played much for the county team), and he transferred from his home club Ballinascarty to Clonakilty. I knew his cousin, and he told me that he basically couldn't go into Ballinascarty after the transfer as the feeling of hatred against him was so intense!

Cork with a great win against Limerick this evening. Looked like it was going to be a massacre at half time with Limerick leading by 8, but Cork played great in the second half.

Are they becoming a majority? With abortion and contraception, smaller families, more gay and transgenders? Are they including Poles and Portuguese in the Catholic numbers?

Why are they coming down here to tell us to welcome refugees but still whinging about the Scottish refugees they took in from the 1690s?

How did that work out for them ? ? ?

Palestine for Anyone = = Especially Jews and Israeli's.

Israel for anyone = = Especially Islamic Terrorists ! ! !

Thankfully this shit is rare in the GAA

Football fan dies after post-match brawl at pub

Blackpool FC said they were "deeply shocked and saddened" to learn that fan Tony Johnson had "tragically lost his life".

The 55-year-old had been found with a serious head injury outside The Manchester bar on the Promenade in Blackpool at about 19:00 GMT on Saturday, Lancashire Police said.

Supporters had clashed following the Blackpool v Burnley match.

Dunno what Burnley fans are kicking off for. They're 17 points clear of 3rd at the top of the English Championship.

Hmmm... perhaps

But attacks on referees and other officials is quite common

There's a significant fuckwit element in the GAA. I remember attending local matches as a young lad and you'd have lunatics on the line urging players to break the legs of other players.

Congratulations to Monaghan and Vincent Corey on pulling off the great relegation escape (again) with help from Tyrone .....I didn't fancy them at all to beat Mayo in Castlebar but they came up with a victory from somewhere , it was even cosy at the finish with the last kick of the game a penalty from Conor McManus sending the keeper the wrong way for a 2:14 to 14 win for Monaghan

Derry won the Ulster championship. The teams that lose their ulster championship matches are still in the All Ireland, they just have to play more matches to reach the All Ireland quarter final (whereas the winners of provincial finals go straight to the quarter final).
Will somebody try to explain the new championship structure to Val!?

New York have knocked Leitrim out of the championship in the Bronx last night on penalties after the sides finished 15 points apiece at full time , and it was an American native Mikey Brosnan who converted the winning spot kick

This is New York's first ever win in the Championship at the 23rd attempt and they now March on to face Sligo in two weeks in the semi final
