What are you shyteing on about this time Love?
It's not me, it's Greens crap, and now the Floridaian's are putting a stop to it!!🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️

A Florida Republican Senator has introduced SB 56, a bill that aims to prohibit weather modification activities within the state.

Introduced by Senator Ileana Garcia, this legislation targets chemical and technological methods used to manipulate weather patterns, temperature, or sunlight intensity, effectively halting a controversial practice often linked to geoengineering.

The bill repeals existing provisions in Florida statutes related to weather modification.

It specifically prohibits the “injection, release, or dispersion, by any means, of 36 a chemical, a chemical compound, a substance, or an apparatus 37 into the atmosphere within the borders of this state for the 38 express purpose of affecting the temperature, the weather, or 39 the intensity of sunlight.”

Violators could face stiff penalties, including fines of up to $10,000 and potential misdemeanor charges.

SB 56 is set to take effect on July 1, 2025, but it will likely encounter opposition from industry stakeholders and environmental scientists.

Florida is not the only state taking a stand against weather manipulation. Earlier this year, the Tennessee State Senate took a definitive stance against the controversial topic of “chemtrails” by passing SB 2691/HB 2063.

We live in a system of electronic mechanisms. While it is true we should down-size these systems, like Ted Kaczynski suggests in his Industrial Society & its Future until then we need to somehow power the electronic mechanisms that we use from day to day. Climate Change restrictions directly affect the use of dangerous methods of providing energy such as nuclear energy. If restrictions are made on everything we will have to use the most technologically 'progressive' methods of living with electronic devices. This is just waiting to be taken advantage of by speculators in America who whether they know it or not are descending the world in to Communism.

In short... Climate Change restrictions lead to Communism!

I always figured it was the chance of a Plant being bombed by a belligerent nation.
There is that, but they are made of a lot of concrete meaning that terrorists lobbing a rucksack full of TNT over the fence will only rattle a few windows while incoming missiles with conventional warheads will need to hit the right spot. If a nuclear warhead then WTF?

A pity @valamhic is'nt around to give us his valuable insight into what's going on here.
It seems that our Irish Gombeen Government loves gifting Ireland's resources to their foreign profiteer cronies.
Oil, Forestry and now our air space, the Wind (and ground beneath it?)😖

Norwegian energy group Statkraft has acquired a portfolio of wind farms in Ireland from London-listed investment firm TRIG (The Renewables Infrastructure Group) for an undisclosed sum.

The farms, with a total capacity of 35 megawatts (MW), are located in various sites in the Republic.

“It is anticipated that the assets, some of which began operating in 2000, could provide repowering opportunities in the future,” the company said, making Statkraft one of the first renewable energy companies in Ireland to begin repowering (replacing the older turbines) older wind farms.

“We see that onshore wind farms are already making a significant reduction to the cost of the current high electricity prices and reducing Ireland’s greenhouse gas emissions. Expanding our portfolio in Ireland is a key part of our strategy to develop, own and operate renewable energy projects, so we look forward to operating these assets in the future.”

Currently, record amounts of wind power are wasted due to grid limitations.

To me that just suns up the idiocy of this whole green crusade, it's all about virtue signalling, never mind that the plan doesn't work, the comfortable classes can relax knowing that something is being DONE!

Encouraging consumers to adjust demand—especially with electrification of transport, heating, and industry—could stabilize prices and drive investment in clean energy.

More fascism in other words.

This guy is good at what he does, here is a hard look at the absurdity of Ireland's energy sector.
No wonder (monster ryan quit) the Green Sharty were voted out, even green voters must have been jolted awake when they began to realize what they are responsible for creating. - Double the CO2 at double the price and twice the effort.🤪

What is dangerous about nuclear power?
Outside of the Ukranians trying to blow up nuclear power plants with missiles, where at best they will create another chernobyl, they seem to be good at least at that, which was down to incompetence and being retarded, it is not dangerous. France is 70 percent nuclear and have been at it 50 years. Funny enough the French practically own and run all brit nuclear power plants, where the brit spastics want to close them all down. Lets keep following the bits, that will get us where we need to go for sure.

Right to Know case over access to records on how RTÉ covers climate change is referred to Court of Justice of the EU

A key case on access to environmental information from public service broadcaster RTÉ has been referred to the Court of Justice of the EU (CJEU).

Using the Access to Information on the Environment (AIE) Regulations, Right to Know had sought copies of any overarching guidance that issued to reporters on how to cover the climate crisis as well as feedback from members of the public on their coverage.

Although RTÉ said there was no guidance and released some of the feedback, they have disputed that they are a “public authority” for the purposes of environmental info requests.

They have argued it could compromise press freedom even though the records sought would have no impact whatsoever on journalistic work or research.

However, the case has raised a Europe-wide question over whether public service broadcasters across the European Union should have to deal with such requests.

As part of the case, RTÉ gathered information from other EU broadcasters showing some were open to requests and others believed they were not.

There was roughly a one third/two thirds split with 8 (and a half*) saying they were subject to AIE and 18 (and a half) arguing they were not.

However, public service broadcasting is radically different in member states in terms of how it is funded and operated.

The High Court has now ruled, quite sensibly in our view, that the case should be referred to the Court of Justice of the EU.

The introduction to the judgment by Justice Richard Humphreys sets up the core question of the case very well.

He wrote: “How should the law balance the right of access to environmental information, which is particularly important in relation to the problem of false balance in media coverage of the climate emergency, with the right of public broadcasters to exercise their press freedom?”

The judgment is lengthy but can be summarised in a few key questions (somewhat simplified for reasons of space):

Is RTÉ a public authority for the purposes of requests made under the AIE Regulations?
Does a public authority have a duty to create a new record when answering an AIE request?
Is there a question over the procedures of the Commissioner for Environmental Information in dealing with requests in an expeditious manner?
Justice Humphreys concluded: “For the foregoing reasons, it is ordered that: the identified questions be in principle referred to the CJEU.”

You can read the full judgment below.

* The reference to ‘half and half’ of a broadcaster is from Denmark where the entity Danish Broadcasting is treated as a public authority whereas the TV station TV2 is not.

Why was the Mercosur deal ratified without a whimper from FF/FG?
It will decimate our beef industry. Expansion of Brazilian beef farming will be detrimental for the Amazon, the lungs of the Earth.

From a substack read that came my way -

At times, over 20,000 MW, more than a quarter of Germany’s electricity requirements, had to be imported. Electricity prices rose tenfold (93.6 €ct/kWh). Companies that did not have long-term contracts had to cease production. Wolfgang Große Entrup, Managing Director of the German Chemical Industry Association (VCI): “It’s desperate. Our companies and our country cannot afford fair-weather production. We urgently need power plants that can step in safely.”

The reason: The socialist/green led coalition government and the prior Merkel governments had decommissioned 19 nuclear power plants (30% of Germany’s electricity demand) and 15 coal-fired power plants were taken off the grid on April 1, 2023 alone. 4.35 billion euros of taxpayers’ money in decommissioning premiums were distributed to RWE and LEAG (East Germany). In January 2025, RWE’s Weisweiler power plant will go offline. This, of all months, will occur in January, when electricity consumption in Germany is at its highest and France may have little to supply. This is because France is the most heat-sensitive country in Europe and even small fluctuations in temperature can have an impact on electricity consumption due to the widespread use of electric heating systems. 1 degree Celsius less and consumption in France increases by 2400 megawatts!

Have they come up with a new weather phenomenon Sir?
No ~ I came across this a couple of times in my life ~ ~ It has always existed.

You'd want to be well dressed out in that sort of weather, and /or, probably Not too long out in it, if you could avoid it !

I probably seen pretty much all sorts of Irish weather being brought up on a farm !

New climate scaremongering buzz phrase: "multi-weather hazard event"

And "snow event" 😐

Taoiseach briefed on 'snow event'
Taoiseach Simon Harris said he has been briefed this morning by the Directorate of Emergency Management on the "severe cold snap and snow event Ireland will experience".
