Cernan accidentally broke a fender on the lunar rover and when the repair on the Moon didn't work, overnight Houston (using knowledge of the inventory) devised this.. Not quite as dramatic but reminiscent nonetheless :)

In Sept 2024, it was scheduled to do a crewed fly by and around the moon. It is postponed many times and the date now is April 2026. That remains to be seen

Wild how we keep getting all this high quality 'Mars' footage, but we can't seem to land on the moon successfully any more and the footage is always garbage. :unsure:

Obviously after they left, so there actually is a Man in the Moon.

we have 5 to 7 months for the flyby. No way will the lander be ready for 2027 so forget that. The race is on to beat the chinese 2030 date

You are the mind slave, you believe some things you were told in school that were never demonstrated to be true in reality. You believe in Jewstein general relativity magic spacetime mumbo jumbo. You believe images on TV but not what you see with your own eyes. My position is based on what is observed and experienced in reality.
