Have you any idea about the difference between the combustion of Aerozine 50 propellent and
methylated spirits fuel? Give a go to answer.

Off the top without checking, at a guess it could be that the Aerozine50 is an integral which has the oxygen needed already in the fuel whereas the methylated requires atmospheric oxygen to combust, same as methanol which produces the invisible(almost)/smokeless fires which racing car drivers are scared of.
Is that it?

No. All fuels require oxygen which is practically supplied from the air 20% or from a separate source such as a cylinder in oxy acetylene torch or by incorporation a chemical which converts to oxygen on combustion such as potassium nitrate in gun powder. Methanal was not used in
the Apollo missions. NASA say it was hydrazine 50. This fuel is ignited as close to instantaneously

What is the point of posting on a site where all sorts of ridiculous giberage is pushed. There should be a children's site for that. I have more to do with my time than trying imbecilic education to unwilling recipients. Yeah but, the antenna has other qualities such as it's more like a tent pole which is 2-3 pieces which slot together.
Obviously with it being Space Tech it's machined to the finest tolerances, no need for telescopic which would be considerably weaker when extended.
Imagine a solid pole with a 6mm cored out centre through out the length, a 5mm titanium cable is threaded through out the whole pole which pulls the 3 sections together with an unbreakable/unbendable force when screw tensioned on the inside
See? It's easy when you know how. :geek:

True. A solid pole is stored horizontally and then when needed initially extended diagonally until a point where it can be brought to the vertical.
Certainly there are a few different designs which the engineers could choose from and ultimately - it could actually be a Telescopic pole in the first place!!😆

Exactly, there's many ways of rigging up a space craft, it's no big deal so long as it works OK and can be proven to do so.
