Just Weather.
. . . Dublin Bus and Luas tram services have resumed in the city after being axed before 10am due to the storm.

The bus-service operator advised services were returning on a phased basis with further disruption possible.

A speed restriction of 50kph was put in place across the entire Irish Rail network as a precaution on Monday morning.

An ESB spokesman said approximately 100,000 customers were without power supply on Monday morning due to the storm . . .

How is everyone after Debbie does Ireland?

Not too bad here in Westmeath, power flickered a few times this morning, but overall we got away with it.

Its weather Love ye moron
Yes but it's exceptionally bad weather all through the year, and here's todays outlook

Multiple weather warnings now in place as back-to-back storms head for Ireland

09/12/2023

Storm Elin and Storm Fergus will bring gale force winds to parts of Ireland as Met Eireann issued a range of weather warnings.
Storm Elin is predicted to cause disruption from Saturday and Storm Fergus that immediately follows will cause very strong onshore winds, coupled with high waves and high tides on Sunday.

Yellow warnings for rain indicate heavy rain will give a risk of localised flooding and some travel disruption on Saturday.
The Met Office also warns that strong winds may lead to some transport disruption as spray and flooding on roads may make journey times longer in affected areas.
Flooding of a few homes and businesses is also possible, along with some interruption to power supplies and other services.

The thing is that it's been raining fairly constantly before this and it will after the storms have gone, when it's not raining the skies are dim dimmed clouded over for most of the day.

It's not natural be any stretch of wishful thinking.

We've just had two storms over the last 3 days and now after checking the weather forcast it looks like we're in for Ton's of Rain, again later today and plenty more rain on tuesday, wednesday and thursday. Looks like it stops on friday & saturday but the country will be flattened by thick dimming dark canopy cloud then, back to occasional rain getting heavier as the days go by.

Who'd have thought we'd ever get weather like that in Ireland?
Sure we know it but the weather's become wetter and dimmer in the last 10 years with some periods worse than others like this summer & last summer was wet too.
It's the same but . . . more of the same which equals less sun and wetter atmosphere and that brings on a change in climate and all it's repercussions . . . then it can change to a flip and become droughty, out of the blue!

Who say's it's warming, you just have! - What makes you say that? Do you follow the weather much?

Anyway it's the Climate Change you have to watch - 'It's the business' Do you understand that?

Ireland was So Much Nicer when we were in the Mediterranean Sea ;)

It's time we went back there !
We may get Med weather again this Christmas like it occasionally happens,
Remember putting the heating on in june & july in Dublin in the afternoon@12C but wearing a Tshirt in December at night @16C
That's climate change but just for that year then it changes to something different - Do you get it?

Love, I don't mean any disrespect
I'm only quoting some general facts, you should respect those if you can, you'll need an interest in doing some research.

but have you ever been assessed by a mental health practitioner?
Off topic however Yes, I've been assessed on request by my GP - Apparently I'm sane without hallucination or delusions.
Never had much need for any head medications or therapies from the HSE, Doctor, or Pharma although I once asked the GP for a few Sleeping Tablets when I had difficulty sleeping - He refused and decided to give me a script for anti depressants which I didn't need or use.

So what? Stick to the Facts!

Do you follow the Jet Stream & Gulf Stream? They've been changing their flows & latitudes remarkably in recent years - it's widely accepted that when those influences 'change' then so too does our weather, would you agree?

I just watched the first season of Kin on BBC Sir.

In that case it seems it is you who may need to visit your mental health advisor.
You're accustomed to being programmed by TV companies, your thoughts are not your own design but derive from alpha wave hypnosis directed into your subconscious, consequently your judgement is flawed.
Your experiences are not based in real fact.

Meanwhile, there's been a Tornado in Leitrim!!

With Storm Fergus descending on the country this afternoon, there was serious thunder and lightning witnessed at about 12.30pm in the Carrick-on-Shannon area. Reports then came in of a tornado ripping through Leitrim Village at about 12.40pm, causing damage to properties, knocking trees and walls as well as damaging cars. . . .

. . . An eye witness said they heard a roaring noise and saw trees being flattened at the back of properties near the bridge. Leitrim Fire Service, the Gardai and the ESB are currently in Leitrim Village dealing with the scene.

Following the damage caused by a freak tornado at lunch time today, Gardai wish to inform members of the public that the road through Leitrim Village is currently closed off for safety reasons. Diversions are in place at Battlebridge, at the Fingerboard junction and also at Drumgorman Lake.

Tornados ( miniature ones ) are actually very common in the UK and Ireland.

It's just that they don't become any decent size ( generally ) in the UK or Ireland.

I have see some tiny ones myself that just never come to anything.

The UK and Ireland is actually one of the biggest places in the World for Mine / Tiny Tornados ~ ~ It's just that they very very very rarely come to anything.

Seen plenty of dust devils myself, usually mid to late summer on hot days, as you say they, usully don't amount to much but can make a mess of nice tidy swaths of straw behind a combine leaving it spread over the field.

In the vast open swathes ( and also with the heat ) of the American South / and other suitable places in America some of these turn in to Tornados / Twisters ! !

I wonder, some day will Artificial Intelligence come up with some sort of way of monitoring these and send some sort of mini-tornado killer to stop them becoming Full Blown Tornados ? !
