Yeah but, Italy extends right up into the middle of the Alps!! There's snow to be expected.
When in hot Florence back in the 90's in August it was 32C in the city, we drove 1 hour into the hills/mountains and the temp had dropped by 20C to a chilly 12C. Right now it's 40C in Sicily but only 9C in San Giacomo🥶

The overall problem Spain, Italy and Greece appear to be suffering is not so much the heat but primarily the lack of rain and moisture - desiccating drought!
Of course when there's no rain in specific that usually means there's no cloud cover which makes things worse, hence the record breaking conditions we see - Ireland is currently getting all of the Meds precipitation, our climate has changed back to 'damp & dim' again, for a while.

Correct.

Isn't it crazy you even have you say this?

There's now a basic stupidity on display that's now been demonstrated by many posters on this site.
And that stupidity extends to the idea that a hot summer in parts of Europe somehow translates to a portent of Imminent global catastrophe.

Yes. And that record is expected to be broken. They are facing the longest heatwave ever recorded there.

I can see now why you were so stupid about covid.
Oh good lord, you are one ridiculously ignorant lump of pus. As I noted before, your gleeful idiocy is now being repurposed by your controllers to spread the carbon scam to make more money for those who only crave it to appease their greed.

The world is 4 billion years old, the climate has been around for over 3 billion years and yet, just because there is a heatwave over the last couple of months, its all going to end in in a fireball!

Just feck off with you pathetic attempts at scare mongering will you! But we all know won't because the money is too good, especially when tax free.

The climate alarmists are going to have to work a little harder to fill big money's already swollen coffers on this one as there is already a good deal of scepticism around. Seeing the likes of Tankman being reallocated to the cause will only make me redouble my efforts to fight it.

Climate change, eh? It'd make you think . . . What's it supposed to be? Apparently my climate change is different to his, hers, theirs (over there) and the others too.
Seems there could be short, medium and long term climate change in circulation, as it has always been but also with some new change symptoms certainly being observed - in some places, sometimes.
An example of symptoms, on the land:-

. . . . The Spanish stone fruit season got off to a bumpy start at Van Dijk Foods Belgium too. In mid-April, they got their first nectarine and peach volumes. They were of excellent quality," says Henk Vlaeminck. "It was very sunny then, so they had high brix values. In the following weeks, however, Spain's water availability problems marked these fruits, making it difficult to get good quality stone fruit. Those growers are very concerned about the drought. It rained in late May, but it was torrential, which didn't solve the water problem. The water runs off very quickly, which doesn't help. It must have time to soak into the soil."

That meant that until early June, nectarine and peach prices were high, these specialists say. "It stayed dark and colder here for a long time, so demand also lagged slightly. As the temperature slowly rose, sales increasingly picked up," Henk explains.

. . . . Climate issues seem to be worsening in many places, and there's limited water availability. Be it cherries, stone fruit, kiwis, or oranges. Supply is quite limited, and prices are high. It means plenty of fruit is becoming almost luxury items," Henk concludes.

As they say . . . Money talks🤑 ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^

Remember how they usual braindeads used to squeal about 'global warming' until it was proven beyond doubt that it wasn't happening?
That's when they had to change the buzzwords to 'climate change'.....

Follow the money with these idiots, it's always about the money.

Gimps like WankTanl/Charlottesweb went balls in for the ConVid scamdemic followed by the designer war in Ukraine.
Now the same gimp is going balls in with the climate alarmist retards.
It comes to sites like this this to be contrarian in its desperate attempt to find validation.
Daddy issues for the unemployable gimp, nothing more.
Don't be surprised if it's found with its hands glued to a road nearby soon. :ROFLMAO:

No. And most of this was already discussed in IPCC reports. It's simply the accumulation of heat in the oceans and on land, year on year. It simply is getting hotter and hotter globally every year.

This ends up with some local quirks due to geography though...in Ireland for example we are getting colder winters due to the Gulf stream slowing down due to freshwater entering the North Atlantic from melting Greenland glaciers. This seems counterintuitive as our winters should be getting warmer, right? But at our latitude we should be experiencing harsh winters and its only the Gulf stream that prevented that.

Added up it means more chaotic weather as all parts of the global weather system adjust in relation to each other.

There’s literally nothing you won’t swallow.

Nothing.

Close to airport runways by all accounts.

The only stupidity being displayed here is by you. Stupid in the sense that you think a group of people who can't organise the affairs of their country in such a basic manner as to have a functioning health system or provide housing to its citizens could somehow recalibrate a complex system like the Earth's climate.

Your kind are doomsday nutcases and a collection of quasi religious cranks who think salvation can only be achieved by money (carbon tax) and being miserable (live in the dark and cold during Winter). No different therefore to many similar such groups through the centuries.

It's not been done intentially Jim. We have blundered into it like we blundered in your other examples. Ironically the oil companies were the first ones to figure it out in the 70s, but we went ahead anyway.

And no...I don't believe in a carbon tax or living in the dark and cold. It's far too late to stop what's happening and we probably past the point of no return 10 years ago.
You should have your own stand up show. You could call your comedy tour ‘Gullible’.

You’d have plenty of material. Global warming, Ukraine, the necessities of the Covid jabs and Lockdowns.

How far do those records stretch back compared to the age of the climate?

Yeah but, we need to look at the bigger picture. See, climate change has different meanings, different causes and different symptoms - All at the same time changing in the nowo_O. Things you say above were true for a while but have changed since then

. . . . Jakobshavn has spent decades in retreat—that is, until scientists observed an unexpected advance between 2016 and 2017. In addition to growing toward the ocean, the glacier was found to be slowing and thickening. New data collected in March 2019 confirm that the glacier has grown for the third year in a row, and scientists attribute the change to cool ocean waters.

. . . Eight years ago, it had retreated 2.9 kilometres (1.8 miles) and was losing 70 metres (230 feet) annually. But for the last few years, it has been growing at the same rate, which means it is already back to its original size.

jet_streams_Polar&Sub-1368429945.jpg

You forgot to mention the N.A.Jet stream which really has a direct overriding effect upon climate change drivers . it makes and breaks our Irish summers and winters.
Dublin 2010 - 2014: July at noon measured 12C. December at night measured 16C
Had to turn the central heating all through some summers but t-shirts on in winter = Climate Change flip flop

. . . . “To the north of the jet stream, we have cooler Arctic air and areas of low pressure, which in turn bringing rain spells to the UK”, he added, “To the south of the jet stream, we have an opposite weather pattern with a high-pressure system stalled drawing hot air from north Africa and maintaining the hot dry conditions.”
. . . . Southern Europe is struggling with wildfires and health warnings as a second heatwave – Charon – brings scorching temperatures to the region threatening to break previous records. . . .
. . . . Meanwhile, the UK has had a cooler and wetter July with temperatures way below

The northern hemisphere jet stream has exhibited very different behaviour over the past few years now and this has been modelled before too.
It's being manipulated and experimented on and the results are stunning - Snow and freezing in Texas, St Petersburg and Copenhagen 10C warmer than a cool Barcelona, all in early summer.
While the south was shivering, at the same time the Arctic was experiencing 40C above normal! That's a climate change work in progress which can be adjusted to allow the climate to change back again - to design!!:geek:
