That clown. 😆

I suppose you admire Fr Brian D'Arcy, Mary Robinson-McAleese, Miggledy and Pantibliss as well.

People accused me on Politics.ie of Religion hopping but going from Presbyterianism to your standard "Low Church" conservative Irish Anglicanism was hardly a big move and going from the type of Anglican I became to a Catholic was hardly a big move either. Going from Catholic to Buddhist though is MASSIVE- he must of had a huge Spiritual crisis than bordered on being a clinical mental breakdown.

But most of the time they just accused you of being obsessed with the joooooos
and being an old man pretending to be a younger woman in a gold bikini! :ROFLMAO:
You said yourself you were only pretending to be a woman and it was "fucking sick"

He was born in 1953. Some sort of boomer existential crisis?

My better half said something on this when I asked his opinion on the situation- he said that when I think of Buddhism, well I think in terms of actual Buddhist doctrine and historic Buddhism while as for a lot of contemporary Westerners Buddhism for them is just about being "Spiritual" (or feeling so) while rejecting the sense that you are accountable to a Higher Power who Created you and that could well be what was going on in this case. Sometimes he can be a cynical so and so but I am afraid there is a good enough possibility that he might be correct.

Well he is hardly Tolstoy. If he is your most admired person in Ireland than there are not many admirable people there

I've known him for years Miss. A harmless aul eejit with a Dublin Da and Cavan Ma.

They had him on with Jim Allister once and he made him concede that he was an Ulsterman just like Jim.

But I'm more concerned with Dan admitting he was wrong for once ;)

You guys were doing it long before them.

Anyway - lets have a truce - we don't like each other - but nobody wants to hear it.

I posted a song on the Top of the Pops thread there by Tim Buckley. Enjoy it and even cover it. Slan. Sham xxxx oooo

She is back with a home run. She is the leader of sanity now in Ireland
It'd be marvelous if she had her own mainstream radio show to inform a wider audience, she'd be appreciated by many and of course important to give any of the offended the right of reply.
Irish media needs greater freedom and a broader agenda, especially in these times of critical changes.

I think she has the drive to endure. I would still like her to run in an election though as it would give her more exposure.
I think she should quit attacking blythe and others for two reasons.
1. She could be wrong about them.
and
2. It just alienates those who follow them and helps her none.

didn't she get a large payout back in the day?
Yes but after fighting a few elections, court cases. Printing a monthly newspaper . not to mention everyday bread and butter bills the past year like electricity and petrol, one wonders how she could possibly have much left

The pen is mightier than the sword.
I wonder about the benefits of street battles, who wins what?
Acknowledge how a single bright spark can ignite a flurry of garda batons to be justified in the mornings papers?
Fighting the battle on the streets is a bit like giving the garda heavie's a good reason to earn overtime - See?
All due respect to AH but his michael flatley jig of provocation was a stupid fail - Why do it, again?

It has been my experience also that on sites I worked , if a crane was present I got a better days wages...... It appears to me that she sees construction companies and their employees and subcontractors as toxic scum

Is that an old video ? There was election posters still up......the people driving past were called gombeens
Let's find the context? Despite the cheap availability and sell off of state controlled property assets to favoured private interests by Nama in the last 12 years, Ireland is today experiencing increase in homelessness, irish people are being price gouged by vulture landlords(foreign lords too) and living in underdeveloped slum conditions while those projects Gemma shows are dedicated to mostly foreign and private interests - they've had all the support, you see the extent of the huge developments in the area and yet still just last week just up the road The folk in Ballybrack have to defend their tightknit traditional small town from being taken and given over to outside interests.
The Governments neglect and abuse of it's own citizens is verging on ridiculous.
Again, Ireland paid foreign investors for their bank losses by selling state assets to other favoured and often foreign interests for cents on the €€€'s - Now those same vulture interests have developed the sites into real estate which they rent back to the Irish at record breaking robber rate.
Ireland gets doubled f**ked spit roasted never ending by it's own traitorous governments and insider beneficiaries for profit at our expense and resources. - I think that was part of Gemma's context.
JHS won't mock her on that point and the fact she does get out on location to protest and demonstrate despite Harrisment and fighting for rights in court. Remember??
