It's warm at night in November!! Warmer than June-July and certainly with no central heating the last few nights at 13-15C😅
Wondering will it get to the weirdness of 2013 when it was 12C @13:00 in July but 16C @23:00 in December🙃

It's a win win situation.
Waemer temps mean we don't need to burn fossil fuels to keep warm thereby reducing our overall emissions which is supposed to be good for the planet.😎

Looks like the Journal's been reading my mail☺️ but seriously, it's warm for winter and the all time record could easily get broken anytime soon.
Certainly the weather has flipped this year.

How long have the weather stations been recording?

More than long enough to tell us that while Germany, Holland & belgium are getting 4, 5, 6C we're getting 13, 14C on the NW coast now.
No doubt, the town has an air of summer about it tonight😁

Jews always ran Amsterdam. The only problem now is that they flooded the place with Muslims and the latter have turned on them.

2C this chilly morning, brrrrrr 🥶 Winter is here at last, fog and all.

Maybe the weather'll settle down back to normal and perhaps there'll be a dash of well-over-due snow this December  😄

So far so good, maybe things will simply settle back to normal levels and events like Germany , Midleton and Valencia will be fewer.
We here in Ireland had a rough few years but maybe that's all a thing of the past now😉
By the laws of averages & probability surely next year will be the best summer on record for a change?🤩

Official winter months are December, January and February so we're right on schedule as usual.

Since when, where?
Officially, back in the 20th century, Ireland's Winter was known to be Nov, Dec & Jan . . .

When was it changed (it's news to me 😃), was it because of so called climate change??

There is no such thing as normal weather.
Snow and ice at Winter time is considered normal, where's it gone?

It used to be regular every 2-4 years but we haven't had any serious stuff for about 10 years now.

Perhaps this year for frost and snow? or will it be more of the same new changed upside down 21st century climate mickey mouse!!
. . . . you know, no snow or ice, warm winter weather and a cool dim wet rainy summer again in a row??

You wouldn't bet on a 20th century climate now, would yiz :geek:

The climate changes naturally without any help from us, it is never consistent thus weather can never be normal.

Careful what you wish for, the MSM, with RTE well out in front, will be screaming weather warnings, red lights and tales of impending catastrophe if we don’t immediately do as instructed by the unholy alliance of the Garda, AA, Met office etc. It’s a great excuse for them to boss us plebs around.

Ah yeah, t'was ages ago :ROFLMAO: Near record temperatures and falls of snow mark 2018 as an exceptional weather yea The beast from the east and summer drought characterise a topsy-turvy year
I really don't know what you're looking for Love. You said there was no snow and I gave you the biggest fall in 60 years.

Now you're saying it was too hot that Summer?

What exactly do you want?

I really don't know what you're looking for Love.
I look for what you see - What's printed in the papers in the link.

You said there was no snow and I gave you the biggest fall in 60 years.
Yeah, I exaggerated a little but look at what the facts reveal!! . . .

It's been 6 years ago since there was proper snow and then it was such an unusual occurrence that they gave it a monstrous nickname "The Beast" - for some rare aul snow!!! 😅😂😅🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Since then there's been feck all - The system's fecked.

Now you're saying it was too hot that Summer?
No, It's the paper saying there was no/low rain during summer - A drought!

What exactly do you want?
To keep an eye on "Exceptional" weather.🧐

Exceptional Weather, anybody??

Med coast of Spain has been battered & drowned by record flooding in the last two weeks but today it got hit again and worse down in Malaga - Very unusual damage for the region which has plenty of experience with "The rain in Spain" - Record levels every year, nowadays  . . .

According to the comments below your video Buddy, Spain removed 100's of dams to comply with EU fish migration policies.

Do you think this is the reason for the flooding?

Nah, they're very selective on what fish migrate into the river system.
Most rivers in those areas are dried out deserted rocky river beds, it's just dusty aul fish bones left behind from hundreds of years ago to be found.

Do you think this is the reason for the flooding?
Don't be so easily fooled by such obscure nonsense:D

Mad weather these next couple of days 🤪

Currently -1C up in Ballymena but 13C on coastal Cork & Kerry.
Later tonight, snow is forecast for the North @ -2C while the South at the same time will maintain a balmy 13C.

Thursday says it'll be low as -8C in the midlands while coastal Cork will be seeing it up to 9C at the same time.

Despite there being no fairies for the voyeurs to gawk at, it's still going to be interesting to see if the forecasts are accurate

Enough is enough Love. You've had your Climate panic now its time to rein it in.

If you keep this sh1t up you may well be charged with spamming.

Ooh who, listen to you? The weather forecast is making you nervous?
Best go back to your fairy peep show then or are you really out looking for more trouble??

Anyway, it's of interest to keep a track of things. The snow and -2C plunge as forecast didn't materialise as of yet and so are curious to see how accurate are the predictions for this week, after all, the next flurry could be the last😁

The anticylone's moving eastwards and by its position drags down cold arctic air into the North. But that's temporary until it moves further East. .It's the sea temperatures that determine our longer range forecasts - and they are still high.
This is only temporary, and might I say quite normal for the time of year.
Current sea temp off Kerry: 12 degrees. There is our thermal blanket, no matter the North wind.

Actually, most of the little mountains around here, Benbulben and all have pretty snow whitened tops and silvery ridges which stayed all (chilly)afternoon. There was snow after all😊
