I would think they are split but the majority would like Russia as a trading partner only. They would want to be members of the the EU and NATO and the Crimea back.

If they wanted that they should have prepared from the moment they got the Russians out. Everything should have been put into the Military.

Crimea was given to them as a good will gesture when they were given independence. It's still home to the Russian Nave in Sevastapol.
