Hope everyone did this betRight lads, bet of the week is Kerry's David Clifford to win RTE man of the match this Sunday, 7/2. The lad is a genius and likely to step up to the plate.
Did Galway cover the spreadWell it surely does s 50/50 for Kerry to win and he f so, he is certainly the man. So these odds are decent.
What is the spread.
Mabe him and galway to cover
Nope. I didn't back them thoughDid Galway cover the spread
wow, the spread was 5 points or more??Nope. I didn't back them though
Have you any idea how much money my galway bar took in in 2001 and 98.Dan I commiserate with you Sir. 20+ years is a long time to wait for an All Ireland final only for your County to come away empty handed.
Perhaps it was the nerves leading up to final day which made you behave out of character on here?
I get it Bro![]()
Is spread the same as handicap? I think so. Eh nah Galway were +4 handicap and they lost by 4.wow, the spread was 5 points or more??
That would be money back here, called a "push"Is spread the same as handicap? I think so. Eh nah Galway were +4 handicap and they lost by 4.
No, bet would be a loser as the handicap draw was the result...That would be money back here, called a "push"
Unfortunately not, and I'm fairly annoyed with myself.Hope everyone did this bet
It was a banker. I'm annoyed that I didnt put more on itUnfortunately not, and I'm fairly annoyed with myself.
Money back here. No, bet would be a loser as the handicap draw was the result...
You can do draw no bet, but the odds are less....Money back here.
That is better because they are so accurate that the score is very often exactly on the spread. You can do draw no bet, but the odds are less....
You mightn't be that far off.Or were they played to free the stadium for black Ukraines
Update........Tommy Moyna died this morning aged 93I am glad to hear he is still alive. He ran a pub and chicken houses. He was an identical twin with Mackey. It was hard to know who was who.
Tommy was selected and Mackey was not. Mid way through the game, Tommy got injured with a sprain. Mackey slipped in to the dressing room and changed. He played the second half as Tommy. This definitely happened. but I cannot stand over the exact details. I heard it several times from men and women who were there and I believe it. They were both rip roaring Fainna Fail men. Jimmy Leonard was their man and he is still alive.
Tough hardy men they were. Tommy would work all the hours there was. Hardly drink any or very little.
Did you vote number 1 for Kieran Doherty H-blocks candidate ?RIP. He was Fianna Fail mad. He would bring in all the auld blind fellas to vote. Jimmy Leonard No 1. Jimmy never spoke one word in the Dail.
Then in 1981 his son Tommy Jnr canvassed for Ciaran Doherty H Block. Both got elected.
Kieran wasn't shinner he was full on provisional IRA candidateVal has never voted Shinner Sir
That is true. That could be read two ways.
What was his confession Sir? It must've been something big to get off his chest. Had he killed a man?He must go to confession and then to mass and receive holy communion. That was his cure. That is true,
Ballybays for drinking taeMy mate's Da won an Ulster Championship with Monaghan way back when. His name was Traynor from Ballybay.
Would there have been much IRA support in kingscourt? ........Cavan as whole was patchy enoughIt was a fathers advice to his son. The sin the son committed was that he joined the IRA
this happened....with 6 red cards in the last 10 minutes......both Clifford sent off along with 4 Stewartstown playersFossa play Stewartstown this weekend in the Junior final. A good bet would be the Fossa handicap at evens. They have David Clifford, at 23 as already amongst the greats of the game. He could have a field day in Croker.
Mental ending there. Stewardstown lost the head. What a horrible foul on Páidí Clifford.this happened....with 6 red cards in the last 10 minutes......both Clifford sent off along with 4 Stewartstown players
Glen will be putting in a big performance , this has been building up for a while under malachy O'Rouke , taking out Kilcoo was big , I'll definitely be tuned into this one ......I respect the danger of Shane walsh and others in crokes lineupTwo good matches this weekend. Hard to call the football but I give kilmacud the edge. Ballyhale should win comfortably against Dunloy.
Aye O'Rourke's a good manager all right. It's amazing the difference a really good manager can make to a team. Micky Moran transformed Kilcoo and won an Ireland with them.Glen will be putting in a big performance , this has been building up for a while under malachy O'Rouke , taking out Kilcoo was big , I'll definitely be tuned into this one ......I respect the danger of Shane walsh and others in crokes lineup
