Well it surely does s 50/50 for Kerry to win and he f so, he is certainly the man. So these odds are decent.

What is the spread.

Mabe him and galway to cover
Did Galway cover the spread

Dan I commiserate with you Sir. 20+ years is a long time to wait for an All Ireland final only for your County to come away empty handed.

Perhaps it was the nerves leading up to final day which made you behave out of character on here?

I get it Bro (y)

Have you any idea how much money my galway bar took in in 2001 and 98.

I was the first only place showing the game on the South shore and I should have retired that night.

Good to see 3 different winners of Sam in a row.

Glad for Limerick but its time someone stepped up now and knocked them off their perch.

I am glad to hear he is still alive. He ran a pub and chicken houses. He was an identical twin with Mackey. It was hard to know who was who.

Tommy was selected and Mackey was not. Mid way through the game, Tommy got injured with a sprain. Mackey slipped in to the dressing room and changed. He played the second half as Tommy. This definitely happened. but I cannot stand over the exact details. I heard it several times from men and women who were there and I believe it. They were both rip roaring Fainna Fail men. Jimmy Leonard was their man and he is still alive.

Tough hardy men they were. Tommy would work all the hours there was. Hardly drink any or very little.
Update........Tommy Moyna died this morning aged 93

RIP. He was Fianna Fail mad. He would bring in all the auld blind fellas to vote. Jimmy Leonard No 1. Jimmy never spoke one word in the Dail.

Then in 1981 his son Tommy Jnr canvassed for Ciaran Doherty H Block. Both got elected.
Did you vote number 1 for Kieran Doherty H-blocks candidate ?

That is the worst insult I have seen on any irish forum, against the second smartest man in Ireland to boot

A trainor was part owner in The Field Pub in Cambridge Massachusetts I think it was, or was it The Phoenix Landing.

He was not as well known as me of course whose place was more popular with irish.

Fossa play Stewartstown this weekend in the Junior final. A good bet would be the Fossa handicap at evens. They have David Clifford, at 23 as already amongst the greats of the game. He could have a field day in Croker.

Two good matches this weekend. Hard to call the football but I give kilmacud the edge. Ballyhale should win comfortably against Dunloy.

Glen will be putting in a big performance , this has been building up for a while under malachy O'Rouke , taking out Kilcoo was big , I'll definitely be tuned into this one ......I respect the danger of Shane walsh and others in crokes lineup

Aye O'Rourke's a good manager all right. It's amazing the difference a really good manager can make to a team. Micky Moran transformed Kilcoo and won an Ireland with them.

I was disappointed with Glen in the Semi final; that might have been nerves playing in Croker etc..

Very unsatisfactory ending to yesterday's all Ireland club football , kilmacud ended the game with an ineligable 16th player on the field defending a Glen 45

In other news Kerry's David Moran has retired .....along with Mayos Lee Keegan two high level players have left the playing arena
